Welcome to Kahikatea Hub for 2017. We hope you have all had a fantastic holiday and are looking forward to starting school next Tuesday.
We have been busy planning some fantastic activities to begin the school year and we are super excited to see the buildings and developments at school on Thursday when we all meet up.
It would be very helpful if your child could have their stationery ready for the first day of school. If you have purchased your child's stationery and you would like to label the books at home there is a list below for the book labels:

Please ensure all your child's stationery is named - pencils, pens, glue sticks, rulers etc.
The children keep their own pencils and pens in a pencil case in Year 3/4 and they are responsible for managing their own belongings. When equipment is named, it is certainly easier to return to the owner.
Book coverings are not essential, however, it does prolong the life of the books and it makes it easier to identify their books.

Term 1 is a hat term and we would like to see all children in Kahikatea hub with their named school hat at school. Caps can be purchased from the school cafe and the bucket hats are available at the uniform shops.
