Welcome to another busy week in Kahikatea Hub.
This week we have the ASB taking each class for a session regarding financial literacy. They will be working with us on Wednesday.
Des Hunt will be talking to the Year 3/4 children about his work as a writer on Wednesday morning and then working with a group of children in the afternoon.
Maths-A-Thon
Completed sponsorship forms and money need to be returned to the office by 8th September. There are some great prizes up for grabs for the homebase, individuals that bring in the most money.
Calendar Art
These can be viewed and purchased at the office this week.
Mask Making
This week the children will begin planning and making their mythological masks. The children are welcome to bring in supplies from home that they might wish to add to their mask.
Kahikatea 17 and Kahikatea 18 - Clay cutting
We are beginning our clay work next week and would love any helpers to cut and bag the clay before school if you have a spare few minutes. Thank you.
Have a great week
Julie, Adela, Fiona, Sam and Jane
